Our mission is to
"Remember those whom others have forgotten"
Established in 1994 as a private/public partnership between
KLBB Radio and the Hennepin County Human Services Department, Gifts for Seniors
remembers our elderly neighbors who are alone during the holidays, providing
gifts and reasurances that they have not been forgotten. Since its inception
Gifts for Seniors has provided services for more than 10,000 isolated seniors
in the greater metro area. This has been accomplished with the help of many
donations and the generous support of numerous collaborating agencies. Feel

Gifts for Seniors is the winner of the 1997
National Association of Counties Achievement
Award, the 2000 Minnesota Broadcastrers Association's Media Best Award: Bringing
Community Service Home Award, and the 2006 Minnesota Association's Excellence in
Volunteer Administration Award.
